With Sydney yoga teacher – Aly Clarke and The Acupuncture Collective – Martine Aharonson
Are you tired? Stressed? Tight muscles Overthinking?
Or just looking to stay balanced?
It’s time to reset, let go of stress, tightness and balance your daily activities with the deep rest and nourishment that Yin & Pins brings. Nourishing body, mind and soul, your internal intelligence can come into play and heal.
Yin & Pins merges the two ancient modalities of acupuncture and yin yoga. The first half of the class will be yin yoga followed by acupuncture. The balance of acupuncture and yin yoga are both vehicles to bring balance, restoration and relaxation to your body, working with the Chinese meridian system and focusing on specific body organs.
Join Aly Clarke to peel back the layers of the self in a workshop that merges yin yoga with the ancient healing practice of acupuncture. The ancient vedic text of the Taittiriya Upanishad explores the idea of the human consciousness through a series of five sheaths, called the koshas. They interpenetrate each other, encasing the soul like the layers of an onion.
Explore these physical and subtle energetic bodies with a series of long, nourishing yin holds complemented by a deeply restful and restorative acupuncture session in which tiny, hair-thin needles will be applied by the expert hands of Martine Aharonson of The Acupuncture Collective.
