The Medicine of Yin Yoga in Daily Life with international Yin Yoga Master, Mel Mclaughlin from The Yin Space
In this 2 hour Masterclass, Mel will weave together physical and intellectual knowledge to understand the benefits of yin yoga as a medicine in daily life. Learn how this incredible modality can be a slow drip tonic for every day for vitality, health and balance.
Mel will be answering questions like: Why do we hold the poses? What is the fascia? What are meridians and what do they do? Why do we feel so good after yin yoga? How does that last and what are your long term gains?
As we unravel the mysteries of acupuncture channels in relation to your yin yoga practice, we will understand that organ health, fascia health and your ‘Yinsides’ go way deeper than ‘stretching’ / ‘diet’ and have a mental, emotional aspect to them too. ‘By addressing them in yin yoga, through stretching and compressing, we provide a platform for communication through all parts of your being which results in good health, sleep, digestion, vitality and long term balance.’
