Class Descriptions

All yoga classes offered at Botannix Yoga are holistic in nature, including postures (asana), breathing practices (pranayama), meditation (dhyana) and yoga philosophy (shasrta), and emphasise the power of yoga to enhance physical, mental, emotional & spiritual wellbeing.

Yoga class styles

Lotus Flow: A vigorous, flowing practice with creative, joyful sequencing, including chanting, mudra and uplifting music. Mixed-level, some experience is recommended. It aims to build strength, increases flexibility, calm the mind and open the heart, while learning to “embody” the profound and powerful lessons of the Yoga tradition.

Open flow: Flows smoothly from posture to posture, follow a general structure to ensure a balanced, cohesive and enjoyable experience, with vinyasa sequencing, conscious alignment, breath awareness, meditation and relaxation. Open to all levels.

Morning flow: Gentle Vinyasa (flowing) practice to invigorate the body, clear the mind & prepare you for the day.

Yin: The emphasis of this practice is on developing mindful self-awareness through stillness and longer holds of poses. Yin yoga, through the meridian system, often targets a particular organ in the body such as the kidney, liver, stomach, gallbladder and heart, offering an ideal opportunity to nourish these organs in a safe environment, allowing physical, emotional and mental healing to occur.

Yin flow: Is a signature style of yoga that begins with some gentle flow, then progresses through a series of postures focusing on different parts of the body and their associated meridian channels depending on the season.

Gentle Hatha: Moving at a slow, gentle pace and recommended for those with little or no experience. Includes Yoga postures, relaxation & meditation.

Passes and Fees

Introductory Offer: $30 for our 10 days unlimited pass (access to all yoga classes).

Single class – $20

10-class pass – $175

Unlimited passes

Monthly Unlimited – $200/month

This pass gives unlimited access to all yoga classes on our weekly class timetable for 1 month, valid from the day purchased.  No on-going commitment is required; no holds are available.  This option is suitable for those practicing on average at lease 3x/week during that month

On-going monthly yoga pass – $75/fortnight (minimum 6 month commitment)

This pass gives unlimited access to all yoga classes on our weekly class timetable. A minimum 6-month term and monthly auto-pay (via direct debit or credit card) are required.  This option is suitable for those committed to practicing at least 3x/week on an on-going basis.  It can be put ‘on hold’ for 1 week for every 3 months commitment.

Concession prices –  We typically do not offer concession prices because we endeavour to make our classes affordable for all.  However, if our prices are not within your budget please contact us to arrange a contra.  We are always looking for help cleaning the studio, delivering flyers and doing other odd jobs.

Conditions

We do not offer refunds. Payments in part or in full confirms your place and are therefore binding. In special circumstances if you are unable to attend the course for which you have booked we may consider a transfer or a credit note, at our discretion. Credit notes WILL NOT be offered after the date of the course that has lapsed.

Botannix Yoga reserves the right to change the location or the hours of the training if the need arises.

Our yoga introductory offer is available once only per person; no transfers, refunds or holds; cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.

Our unlimited monthly yoga pass is valid for 1 month from day of purchase; non-transferable; no holds available.

Our multi-class passes are valid for three months from time of purchase. If for some reason you are unable to use your 10 classes within the allotted time, please contact us before the expiry date and we will be happy to assist you with an extension.
